In Summary
In the fall of 1983, an exciting new series of chamber music was inaugurated, and on September 26th of that year the Cuyahoga Valley Arts Ensemble performed before an enthusiastic audience in the Music Room at Stan Hywet in Akron. Nineteen seasons later on September 29, 2002, this critically acclaimed chamber music series took up residence in The Chapel on the campus of Western Reserve Academy. The Chapel, with its historic charm and superior acoustical properties and other delightful venues on campus have proven to be a perfect choice for the continuation of this popular series.

Note: While the Chapel is a perfect venue in so many ways, it presents a challenge for those who have difficulty climbing stairs. We're aware of this challenge — other "user-friendly" venues are being explored and considered, in addition to the Chapel.
